Our Message

Congwei Dang, Representative Director & CEO, GotoAI Inc.

GotoAI’s purpose rests on two keywords: “business value” and “positive impact.” In fact, when I founded the company, the one I held firmly in mind was “positive impact.”

AI is a remarkable technology. Yet technology in itself does not determine good or bad; what is decisive is the “positiveness” with which we choose to use it.

More generally, the social and economic foundations and the many systems that underpin our daily lives, democracy itself, platforms such as blockchain, and other ecosystems alike, all rest on an implicit premise: that a sound majority (a “positiveness majority”) holds.

Here, however, lies a problem. Even if a sound majority is maintained over the long term, should some pivot factor temporarily reverse the balance of power, unforeseen consequences may follow.

AI is precisely a technology that can become such a pivot factor. To uphold a positive society, and to advance it further, it is decisive that we use AI to create and spread positive impact.

Together with all of you, GotoAI will create business value and, through it, extend positive impact across society.
