Wedding Invitation

This wedding invitation and coordinating wedding program are examples of customized art Alix can create especially for you. 

Here a quite unusual combination Native American/Irish theme is carried throughout by incorporating elements of both, such as the Eagle feathers, beaded dream catchers, arrows and medicine wheels, in combination with intricate interwoven Celtic style borders, a shamrock and, of course, stylish  green lettering. The couple included a Celtic cross and groups of three beads symbolizing their Christian belief in the sacredness of marriage. At bottom center is a personal symbol designed to represent their unity - it is shown as it appears on their wedding rings. This symbol was used in a watermark style on their response cards.

This design can be altered in whatever way you like or a new design can be created  for no more than you would pay for ready-made invitations, which would not be personalized. Wedding Program

Here some of the same elements show up again in a different way surrounded by a rustic, lashed twig border which also includes two Indian shields (for protection), the couples initials and symbol and Indian style tracks of Brother Bear - all done in the colors used in the clothing, and flowers of the wedding party and accompanying pew garlands.

These designs as well as the silk floral arrangements , garlands and reception decorations, beaded and feathered dream catchers carried by bride and junior bridesmaid, flower girl baskets and even coordinating hair ornaments were all created by Alix D. McCown.
